Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Narrly app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use it

The Service is used by an adult — a parent or legal guardian of the child. By creating stories for a child, you confirm you have the right to do so.

2. What the Service does

Narrly generates personalized children's stories with illustrations and narration based on what you enter (the hero's name, the chosen value). Content is created automatically with AI.

3. AI content

Stories, illustrations and narration are created by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. We work to keep content safe for children, but we ask you, as the adult, to look through a story before reading it to your child. The Service does not replace your judgment as a parent.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial family purposes.
• Don't try to bypass limits, disrupt the Service or gain unauthorized access to it.
• Don't enter other people's personal data or offensive or illegal content.

5. Your content and the stories you create

The data you enter (your child's name and so on) belongs to you. You are free to use the stories you create for personal, family purposes.

6. Subscriptions and payment

The basics are free: 1 text story a day. The paid Pro and Family subscriptions give 20 and 60 coins a month (a short or medium story costs 1 coin, a long story 2) and extra features; current prices are on the pricing page.

• Who takes payment. On the web, payment is taken by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, which issues the invoice and handles taxes. In the iOS app, purchases go through Apple (App Store). We never receive your card details.
• Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period (month, 3 months or year) at the current price until you cancel it. If a free trial is offered at checkout, its length is shown there; if you don't cancel before it ends, the paid period begins.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time: on the web, through the subscription management link in your Dodo Payments email, or by writing to contact@narrly.org; on iOS, in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by the seller under its own policy and applicable law: Dodo Payments for web payments (write to us and we'll help), Apple for App Store purchases. After a refund, access to the paid plan ends.
• Story allowance. Plan coins are credited per calendar month; unused coins don't carry over. Stories you have already created can be re-read without limit.
• Price changes. We will tell you by email before a price increase; the new price applies no earlier than your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

7. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will run without interruption or errors. It is an early product, and individual features may change.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Narrly is not liable for indirect or incidental losses related to use of the Service. You use the content you create at your own discretion.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the Service and these Terms. We will mark significant changes by updating the date above. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.
